Jovanche your obtuse comment with your gluposti, answer this letter.

Macedonians gave Greek names to ALL the cities they built or renamed..
My last discover was Dura to Evropos. It was a city named Dura in modern
Syria. When Macedonians had to name it they couldn't hear that foreign
name. Thus they renamed it to Evropos in he times of Seleucids.
Make a search on the net for Dura and see. Evropos was and is a Greek word
maybe of foreign origin.

Funny,
But there are one Slovenian or Italian professor how found the
Cyrillic (created 900 B.C. on base of the Greek alphabet + several new
letters)
And Etruscan?!
He even claim he read the Etruscan text with modern Slovenian ;-)
I saw the 'table' of translation. By the same logic you easily could
found the Cyrillic in Egypt and Sumerian as well.
/And because of similarity with Greek alphabet - in Macedonia as well/
;-)

Read what Wilcken is saying below (this is also my answer to your previos
"The Macedonians were a thoroughly healthy people, trained not by Greek
athletics, but, like the Romans, by military service. But alongside much
that was good, they had many rougher habits,... which tended to make them
appear as barbarians in Greek eyes. The dislike was reciprocal, for the
Macedonians had grown into a proud masterful nation, which with highly
developed national consciousness looked down upon the Hellenes with
contempt."
(Ulrich Wilcken, Alexander the Great - p 26)
Do you comprehend what Wilcken is saying above, grkoman?
Let me "spell" it for you, as I know you do have trouble with
"Neither Greeks nor Macedonians considered the Macedonians to be Greeks."
I hope that above (Wilcken's citation) you will notice the two names
(peoples) "the Macedonians", (a proud and masterful nation with highly
developed national consciousness, looking down upon) "the Hellenes".
Pozdrav,
Zhivko
Macedonians themselves, spoke loudly for their Greekness. They picked up
Greek names for ALL the cities they built or renamed. Before and after
Philip and Alexander: Aigai, Pella, Thessaloniki, Orestias, Philippoi,
Philippoupolis, Alexandroupolis, Alexandreia, Eshati, Persepolis, Evropos,
.....
Borza is stupid of course. Ha says nothing about Macedonian onomasticon.
