Easy to guess: He confirmed that "slon" is a MACEDONIAN word, meaning
elephant.
Now, Jovanche, be happy to have received a lesson in MACEDONIAN - for
free!!

The MALAKAS
Macedonians were always Greeks.
They heard Euripides' tragedies played at Pella, capital of Macedonia
around -400. There is no word slon there.

Bre drvo nedelkano, didn't I answer to this message unanswerably?? Why do
you repeat the same posts again and again? Are you a robot something ?
Are you the known old Ilindenova or a new fruti here ??
Ok lets have a new answer to an old message: The text is from Loukianos'
"funereal dialogs"
I translate from ancient to modern Greek or Hellenic !!
dia=dia, kai=kai, odis=odis, polykolymvisi =poly + kolymvisi, dios=dios,
i=i, fevgontes=fevgontes, omvron = omvron, enidron=enidro, vitho=vithos,
pomfoligopaflasmasin= pomfolyx + paflazw, topos=topos, thiria=thiria,
ekeinos=ekeinos, kalist(a)= kallista, tote=tote, emvalis=emvalleis,
apax=apax, em(e)=eme=me, agein = agw
Shall I continue with the modern words derived from the other non in use
words of the text ? Can you tell us the percentage of the words that are
used in modern Greek from the passage above ? Didn't I tell you that
modern and ancient Greek are dialects of the timeless Greek Language along
with local ( Macedonian, Cypriot, Pontian, Kalabrian, Tsakonian, ...... )
voices ??
